I have a good luck charm that was given to my by my father 43 years ago. He had it as a small boy so that would make it about 80 to 85 years old. One side read "Masory Paint". The other side depicted a shamrock and had the inscription "leksandmalare". Can anyone translate that inscription for me. It was given to me by my father the night before I entered the army. I gave it to my son the night before he entered the air force. Thank you.

These are like clues from an Agatha Christie book!
Firstly -There is NO Irish in what you have supplied
I'm sure it should be Masonry Paint- which is a standard wall paint.
Leksand is a place in Sweden and
Lake Malare is also in Sweden
Maybe Sweden is the place to enquire?
Then again maybe it was a brand of Masonry Paint?
It's a job that's never started that takes the longest to finish.

Now isn't that a scary thought! Pól knows what you REALLY look like too! I rather like him thinking I look like a cheeky monkey.
