I have seen several different translations for the word "paradise". What is/are the correct translation(s) of the word "paradise". Also, how is it pronounced in Irish/Gaelic? Thanks.

The only word for paradise I know is parthas. But hold tight and you will probably get more info and a proper pronunciation

Hi Diana,

Parthas is paradise as gaeilge. Its pronounced very much as it looks ... part-iss but run the syllables together quicker than if you were saying them in English.

Neamh is Irish for heaven. It's pronounced NYAVE (rhyming with have).
