Maith thú, Sam. Doin' well so far. Some of the others may be a bit more obscure, but keep trying anyway. By the way biscuit = cookies in 'Merican.

Patrice, maith thú fosta - great to see you trying that.

here's a small part of the lyrics to a song entitled "To Where You Are"
(has anyone heard Josh Groban sing it? just beautiful)

I believe that angels breathe
and that love will live on and never leave

My awkward attempt to put it in Irish:

Tá mé creid aingil anail
agus le grá beidh mair agus a fhágáil go jeo na ndeor

So, get your red pens out and please make corrections... :)
Tá mé ag foghlaim i gcónaí. With translations, it is best to wait for someone more adept than I to confirm.

Deb,

Did a google on Josh. Did you know you can listen to this song and the entire album here. I can understand why you think it's a great song! :)

Wasn't this supposed to be in Irish? From the original post, I got, #1 Luimneach and #3 Corcaigh and from the latter post Cill Dara.
Beidh ár lá linn.......go luath!!

I'm a beginner. Wait for more input with my translations.
