does the curve of the tines of the forks face down to the table or up?
Tá mé ag foghlaim i gcónaí. With translations, it is best to wait for someone more adept than I to confirm.

You actually face the forks toward each other and slide the tines together. They will form a vee. When it's perfectly balanced using the toothpicks, the ends of the forks will pull down toward the table, creating the perfect counter blances for the weight that's all on two toothpick points. It's really pretty cool. I hope you get it to work.

Your welcome corvus, we watch EVERY year and my mate laughs like a little girl as if he has never seen it before! It instills the child in all of us and it is a great break from the everyday! Not to mention a great trip!!!

You mean the "Bumpus" hounds. Yes, that is one of my favorite movies. I even watch it in July!! I like when Ralphie kicks the doo doo out of Scotty Farkus and his "toadie" Grover Dill, and he's cussing like the 'ol man.

Anyone see the muppet movie (TV special) with sweetums, a good looking blonde "princess" and either robin or kermit. The blonde talks all backwards..."the candle of my bane"...? Saw it twice on TV and they dont put it on anymore!! Loved it. It may have been called the frog prince but i am not sure. The blonde was real the rest were muppets. I think her name was princess Alora.
