Some guesswork involved here....

Chomh milis le mil : as sweet as honey

If lámb is written 'lámh' this line would roughly translate as 'The hand that giveth, taketh away'.

Not sure about the other one

K Serra, I think you're absolutely right there. However this is Scottish Gaelic so we cannot be 100% sure.

Tadgh would be able to work it out.
