I am looking to translate the meaning of the name siobhan in to gaelic. The problem is, everywhere I go, I am getting a different meaning. I would appreciate the translation of these top three answers that I have found: fair spirit, gift of god, and god is gracious. Also if anyone can give me a direct answer as to which is the correct meaning, that would be great.

Siobhán, as far as I know your name is the Gaelic version of Joan. Yhe transaltion of 'gift from God' is 'beart ó Dhia'. "Tá an saol mór lán den fhilíocht ag an té dar dual a thuigbheáil agus ní thráfaidh an tobar go deo na ndeor."
