could someone please give me the translation for the word "brotherhood"as in the brotherhood of firefighters Thank You

Brotherhood = Bráithreacht (from an earlier post by Ailill)

Brotherhood of firefighters = Bráithreacht na fear dhóiteáin

I think ..... but wait for any corrections, as I'm not completely sure. It involves the genitive case in Irish grammar and I'm not very proficient!

Yeah, they should call it the Punitive case. There should be an urú.

Besides that, the only other worry is Possesion:

Mo, do, a (his) = seimhiú
Ár, Bhúr, a (their) = urú

For 'a' (her) there is no seimhiú.
