Lucky used as an adjective to describe a person is Ámharach

Isn't he the lucky dog! nach ámharach an mac é!

He is a lucky guy

Tá an t-ádh ina chaipín

lit: the luck is in his cap

Wasn't he the the (very)lucky one

Nach air a bhí an t-ádh dearg

Ádh dearg (lit Red Luck) can be used for Good Luck

He had a streak of good luck.

Bhí sciorta den ádh air
It's a job that's never started that takes the longest to finish.
