Margaret Mitchell named the O'Riley Plantation Tara. In a similar vein, my wife wants to name our homesite "In due course", as that is what I frequently reply to her list of projects. Can anyone geve me a Gaelic translation? :)

I would say:

I ndeireadh na dála
Pronounced:

IH NYERR-oo NA DAWLA

I think Tara kind of rolls off the tongue a little easier. :)

As I said before, Scarlett O'Hara from Gone With the Wind was one of my most favorite characters in a movie...the kind you loved to hate but man, what a great 3 dimensional character. :)

Don't forget the MOST famous line of all...

Rhett Butler to Scarlett O'Hara when he'd finally had enough:

"Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn."

I'm rather partial to "I'll think about that tomorrow"

I think this is one of the most memorable quotes that truly shows Scarlett's character.

"As God is my witness, as God is my witness, they're not going to lick me! I'm going to live through this, and when it's all over, I'll never be hungry again - no, nor any of my folks! If I have to lie, steal, cheat, or kill! As God is my witness, I'll never be hungry again." -Scarlett O'Hara
