One small correction: "Is grá leis beoir". In later lessons, we'll get into the details, but basically:

Is maith le __X__ __Y__ = __X__ likes __Y__.

le + se --> leis
Go raibh míle maith agaibh as bhur gcúnamh a Wombat! I knew it was missing something but I wasn't sure what it was :oops:

If you look at the first post in this thread, you'll see I've added a short summary on how to describe people and things. I;ve added a few new vocabulary words, so we should be able to have some fun describing more cartoon characters.

Does anyone want to describe this one?

Is fearr Gaeilge bhriste ná Béarla cliste
Is fearr Gaeilge na scoile ná gan Gaeilge ar bith

Dia dhaoibh. Is mise Jim nó JSmith13, agus tá mé i mo chónaí i gCarroll Valley, Pennsylvania, in aice Gettysburg. Bhí mé fear dóiteáin gairmiúil de sé déag bliana anois agus beidh mé ag dul amach ar pinsean i gceithre nó cúig bliana. Ní bhféidir fan liom.
Beidh ár lá linn.......go luath!!

I'm a beginner. Wait for more input with my translations.
