Wow Tim - what inspired that one? 8O
It reminds me of the Alan Parsons song "Oh, Life".

Hey Dizzle

an old crush of mine
through hardship and too much pain
just ended her life

always on my mind
i hadn't seen her in years
though i looked for her

it's a real shock but
i hope she's in a good place
forever at rest

the idea that we're
all together in the end
is appealing but . . .
Nach mise a thóg an ceo arsa an chuileóg i ndiaidh an chóiste.

Ah, one for James.

supremely happy

passes on in peace

Gura maith 'ad, Mr. Dizzle.

Merry, you show up at the right time with your excellent Irish.
I couldn't think of any good way to translate that. Perfect.

Cheers

fuaidríonn ár n-anam
mar deannach ar an mbóthar
ag imeacht le gaoth

like dust on the road
any which way the wind blows
our souls may wander

ほこりそう hokorisou (like dust)
風が吹くまま kaze ga fuku mama (as the wind blows)
あちこちや achi kochi ya (here and there)

bhí muid ag lorg
trasna an doire ar fad
an gasúr feargach

we've searched for the boy -
the length and breadth of derry -
angry at his mates
