right i'll continue
but just on one condition
will you sign my book

. . .

but if they did tell
i'm afraid i'd wake up with
a knife to my neck

a gun to my head
cables to my testicles
poison in my drink

thousands of nightmares
unfulfilled cavities and
maybe a headache

one by one we loved
and i promised them the moon
where did we go wrong

was it a mistake
to allow passion to grow
over a pizza

or tofu burgers
or maybe it was that last
chocolate supreme

smeared on your body
like a great big brown mountain
on a snow white bed

so that's how it ends
and we won't tell what came next
it's ours forever
Nach mise a thóg an ceo arsa an chuileóg i ndiaidh an chóiste.

Wow, that's very long.
Not in Irish though, is it?
But neither is this.

Ceann eile!

Ní raibh snámh agam.
Thit mé in san fharraige.
D'fhoghlaim mé an snámh!

Thaitin sé sin liom.
Sheol mé chuig mo chairde é.
Chun bheith sábháilte.

I did like that one.
I sent it to all my friends.
Just to be safe, like.

tinneas cinn is buairt
ar lá breithe don athair
d'éirigh 'n mhac lomnocht

headache and trouble
on the old man's fiftieth
the son gets naked
