What type of project is it?

Is it about the film- or Ireland or in General?

Or what.

I'd be happy to help

I saw the film. I thought it was funny, but a typical disney film-not very accurate.

I saw it when I was a kid. I enjoyed it, but no...it didn't have much influence on my feelings/understanding about Ireland and the Irish. It was just a fun Disney flick, that's all.

It's an old Disney film about an Irishman and leprechauns (from the '60s or early '70s). Pretty "Oirish," if I recall correctly. Kinda cute, I guess, but not a film I'd hope anyone would take too seriously.

The film that really annoys me is the John Wayne one.

The Quiet Man? I must admit, I've never seen it, though I've heard it's pretty stereotypical. Of course, everyone has to mention it when you play "Rakes of Mallow," though! "Hey, it's the song from "Quiet Man"!"

Quiet Man? That's a good laugh if you approach it in the right way.

I didn't mind Darby O'Gill either... I like these crazy Hollywood fantasias of an Ireland that never could have existed. It's just fantasy, escapism and it's good for the tourism industry.
