I need help finding a good translation for another boat name...this boat was built in 1947 and has had the same name for many years...the name is Petite Jolie (little pretty) I'm looking for the same kind of feel in Gaelic...any suggestions??? :wink:

I'm coining a word here, so I don't know if this makes sense or not, but: alainnín could mean the same as Petite Jolie

Iontach can be used to mean very, in a good sense (and uafásach can be 'very' in a bad sense')

e.g. Bhí sé iontach te - It was wonderfully warm
Bhí sé uafásach te - it was terribly warm

iontach álainn - wonderfully/very beautiful
