It's not hard to work. Look at the bottom of any post. One of the buttons is "PM." You click on that to send a private (i.e., off-forum) message to the person who posted that message.

You'll also find PM buttons in people's profiles.

You'll know if you've received a private message if you look at the top of the screen where it says (currently, but not for long) "you have no private messages." If that changes to say something like "you have 1 private message," just click on that link to go to your inbox and read it. When you're done reading, all you have to do is hit "back" to come back here. If you want to reply to it, just hit "reply" (just as you would on the forum). Your communication with the other person is completely off-list, so no one else will see what you say.

I'll tell you what...I'll send you a PM right now so you can see how it works.

They really shouldn't do that on-list though, unless it's a translation request. But yeah...just as with email, there's no guarantee it won't end up getting quoted publically.

I believe oisin718 was referring to the vile specimin known as "d noone."

He was the one making apologies for the National Socialist regime. It seems obvious, from an objective, unbiased perspective, that you, Conor, were unaware of the intentions of this individual, and did not realize the objectionable nature of his request.

We have no use for individuals and ideologies such as "Nazism." As skilled geneticists, we know that "races" are merely figments of your human imaginations, and live humans are much more useful to the Collective Good than dead ones.

End transmission.
