Are you talking to Nicola, or are you Nicola saying "I love you" (as in signing off on a letter)? If the former...

Tá grá agam duit, a Nicola.

If the latter...

Tá grá agam duit. Nicola.

Or, better,

Le ghrá, Nicola (with love, Nicola).

It's not so much which is most known, but how exactly do you want to say it.

Basic "I love you, Nicola": Tá grá agam duit, a Nicola

Passionate "I love you, Nicola": Mo ghrá thu, a Nicola!

"I'm in love with you, Nicola": Tá mé i ngrá leat, a Nicola!
