I've been hiding in the shadows for a while because I've been running around doing last minute $@#%$ with student loans before I head off to Ireland for the first time ever. Yes IRELAND YIPEE!!! ... only 5 more sleeps!

All my paperwork is together and fingers crossed that they will recognise my qualifications so I can start planning a move!

Anyone have any last minute words of advice? Any gaelic phrases I shouldn't be without?...and maybe a few I should

Although I've given it serious thought I've decided not to try and drink Ireland dry as I've hear many have tried and few have succeeded.

What I will try and do is have a drink for each and every one of you...a diet coke for Conor. It is a hard and dangerous mission...but I will give it my best....well maybe just the active members as we seem to be more numerous than my Euro :guinness: .

I'm heading over for three weeks this time as a tourist. I'll be in Dublin, Cork, Mayo and then a week of literally bumming around and going where the wind (or driving rain) takes me. I'm also dropping off paperwork and a resume in hopes of finding a job for Jan. Otherwise, I'll move there next summer. This is of course if I don't hate it there  (Yeah right...dream on mother)

Conor…I just may have to do that! :ja:
