I hadn't seen that before, that was great!

I also enjoy watching Ros na Rún (soap as Gaeilge), and the English subtitles are a bit tamer than what's actually being said in Irish!

A little while ago the was a co-prouction between Ros na Rún and the Welsh soap Pobol y Cwm. Did you see it?

My Irish is not very good, but I have kickass Welsh! I don't make mistakes in Welsh.

Speaking of subtitles...Bravo has lately taken to showing the English version of my favorite show (Queer Eye for the Straight Guy) on Wednesday nights. What's funny is, about half of it is subtitled! I think it's hilarious! It makes sense to "translate" English slang terms for us Americans, but really...the accents aren't so different that we can't follow what they're saying when they're just deciding on which sofa to buy!
