Ahh, well sure there are some good things about living here (cali) but the politics (especially now) have gotten out of hand. I'm completly anti-opinionated on politics, and I politics. And yes, we have GREAT avocados, lol. but, things like chocolate, and avocados dont make me like cali more than other places. (I agree with alot of the things you said redwolf :D )

Good food starts to mean a lot more to you when you have to do without it. After 10 years in NC, with only those putrid FL 'cados, artichokes at $4 per (for decent ones) when I could get them, no real sourdough, no decent Mexican food, no good red leaf lettuce and no televised Giants games, I was mad crazy to get back to good old Cali, nutcases and all. I just wish I could have brought the Durham public school system back with me!

Calafornia is always one of the most exspensive places in America to live 8O I feel that laws making people conform are just wrong. Like the seatbelt law for example. Yes, seatbelts saves lives, but shouldn't I be the one to decide wether or not I want to wear one?? Just like this smoking ban. Smoking is not healthy, but it's should be my choice to decide if I wish to do it or not. Besides, you can get lung cancer just by stepping out your front door and breathing in the polluted air lol. Everything seems to be cancer causing today.
I'm only here to have fun, learn, and practice my Irish. My translations may not be exactly what you request, or even correct, but you certainly don't have to use them. Feel free to get a 2nd, 6th, or 100th different opion.
