Well, if you wait for tomorrow morning, all the experts will be on and it should be sorted out!! The night crowd, which I am proudly a part of, is still learning, and you should always wait for confirmation anyways!!

Guys...adjectives like "álainn" etc. aren't used on their own with the vocative like that. "a chailín álainn" (or a chailín sárálainn) yes; "a álainn" (or "álainn" or "sárálainn") no.

There are lots of great Irish endearments out there, Ortiz, that would please your girl and be more authentic. How about "A stór" (my treasure)? "A chroí" (my heart)? "A ghrá" (my love)? "A chuisle" (my pulse)? "A mhuirnín" (my darling). Or stick 'em together..."A stór mo chroí" (treasure of my heart). If you want to add the fact that she's gorgeous, how about "A stór mo chroí, tá tú go hálainn!" Lots of lovely ways to tell her she's special in Irish!

Thanks... I was trying to find something more along a one word thing, like an adjective (not even necessarily with a "my" or what not with it)... possibly to put on a t-shirt or something like that, nothing too sentimental (I've only been seeing her for a minute), but just something sweet and simple.
