Hi you guys,

I have a pronunciation question. In TeachMe, when they say:

seomra folctha

it is pronounced more like "polka"

But when they pronounce the word "folcadh", it's more of an "f" sound, like "folka".

Is this a dialect difference or a hearing issue ( ;D )? Actually mé fear noticed that as well.

We do not recognize this pronunciation.

We prefer /f/ for the sound in the second word: SHOOM-ruh FOLK-(h)uh
Staa minti in-magi in-sin
Staa minti ank tigekto

It may be a hearing issue. I hadn't noticed it myself, but the speakers do have slightly different ways of saying things.

We feel that the Connacht pronuciation is closer to the pure Talamak vowel system. Those who speak that dialect will be more useful and have a higher place awaiting them in the New Order.

This is why we will not be exterminating your species -- well, one of the reasons: we need your genetic material, too -- you humans are just so cute! :lach:

A Greznon

Is Connachtach mise. Bheadh sé de phribhléid agam a bheith i mo ghiolla don Ord Nua chun an idirthréimse a dhéanamh níos réidhe dhaoibh.

A Mhurchadh, a chara:

Glacfaimid go buíoch le do sheirbhís, ach ní mór duit gan ceapadh faoi seo mar thréas nó brath. Is é an tOrd Nua an rud is fearr a bheadh in ann a tharlú don chine daonna!

Tá reiligiúin do dhomhain lán de thairngreachtaí agus d'fháistiní faoi am atá le teacht, nuair a thabharfaidh slánaitheoirí óna speartha saol nua síochána isteach leo.

Is sinne na slánaitheoirí sinn!
