Ah...that one I didn't see. My bad. I thought they were commenting on the lack of separation between the words. Redwolf
Yup, this Oxford is about the most inane two language dictionary I have ever seen in my life. **Note to self: get new dictionary w/grammar book up in Portland**

The current Scottish Gaelic for "penguin" is "ceann-fionn" (= "white-head"), corresponding to the reading of "penguin" as per Welsh, ie from "pen" (= "head") & "gwyn" (="white"). The Oxford & Chambers dictionaries claim the origin of the word "penguin" is "unknown" & "disputed" respectively, but both add that it was originally applied to the "auk". So there yar! MY only problem with this is that, in my admittedly limited experience of penguins, they do not seem to HAVE white heads.
Sorry, but the Welsh for penguin is pengwin, a loan-word. Many think it's pengwyn, but (unfortunately) it's not.
"Dúid" Breatnach an tí. Is Breatnach deas mé.
Cymru 11 Lloegr 9 (Wales 11 England 9) Ha Ha!
My Irish is not very good, but I have kickass Welsh! I don't make mistakes in Welsh.
