Thats how I'd say it anyway, except with the stress on the second syllable (i suppose cos thats where it'd go if you were just saying the name Culann). In some parts the throaty H sound is just pronounced as a regular H though, so koo- kHull-in or koo- hull-in both seem right to me 
Whoops!...I'd forgotten that compounds behave differently in the stress department.

So, it does transliterate as Cwchwlin. I'd have complained to the publishers otherwise! "Dúid" Breatnach an tí. Is Breatnach deas mé.

except in Welsh, the emphasis would be on the last syllable instead of the middle one, right?
