Is the "í" necessary???
I would have thought either Níl saoirse saor in aisce or Ní saor in aisce í saoirse Or perhaps an alternative: Tagann saoirse ar chostas mór ("Freedom comes at a high cost," and I'm not at all sure I did that right) But maybe this is my inexperience harassing me again

ack, actually it might be
Níl í an saoirse saor in aisce we're talking about "freedom" the concept and not a particular freedom, so I think yes indeed both the pronoun and the article are necessary Is é Christian Stoehr mo chroí
