Are you sure the first one isn't "cuimhnigh"? That means "remember."

"Cúl" is "back" or "rear" (as in "at the rear of the building")

I do believe I have transposed two letters -- the word is likely cuimhnigh as the translation sounds right.

The complete sentence is "cuimnigh cúl le rath"

I thought I had the correct words for "le rath" -- "with success"?

Perhaps the meaning gets lost in literal English translation -- would you say it reads "remember back with success"

I'm not sure..."cuimhnigh" can also mean "think" or "reflect," and "rath" can also mean "good," "usefulness" or "prosperity," so maybe this is supposed to mean something like "look back with fondness" (?). I dunno. Where did you find it?

I honestly don't know. Wait for others to take a look at it. Could be it's tongue-in-cheek...could be it's an idiom I'm not familiar with that means something quite different...could even be that it's poor Irish...I'm just not experienced enough to tell. The best I can do is look at the words, take their basic meanings and how they're used in the sentence, work out a literal meaning and hazard a guess as to the full meaning...sometimes that works in Irish and sometimes it doesn't.
