He never looks happy on photos...mostly because when he is in a good mood, he's wrecking something and I have to go get the squirt gun

The funny thing is I "inherited" him with the name "Charly"...but since he's always scratching and gnawing on things, we call him "Chewy"
And when he's in trouble I'm hollering "Cathal!" Cats respond to Irish pretty well
My other cat is white, a bit clumsy, and generally not too bright - I've taking to calling him "Amadán Bán"

LOL...we use a squirt gun too. When Jonah sees it lying around unattended, he loves to knock off whatever it's lying on. We think it's his way getting back at it.

My cat's name is Jinxie (after the old Hanna-Barbarra Mr. Jinx) and he's been a good indoor/outdoor mouse-catcher. But, I admit, I tortured him quite a bit when I was a kid. My favourite was "Putty-Go-Round" where I held him under his armpits facing me, stretched my arms out, and proceeded to spin around, letting centrifugal force do its thing while I lowered him and raised him a little. Amazingly he never puked once and he still kisses my cheek in the morning, but he is rather grouch most of the time...go figure

Remember the kitten my dog adopted? Originally I named her Taisce an Sparra. But now I'm thinking of renaming her "Súil Eile" after the TG4 tagline.

I'm only here to have fun, learn, and practice my Irish. My translations may not be exactly what you request, or even correct, but you certainly don't have to use them. Feel free to get a 2nd, 6th, or 100th different opion.
