(Sure the Northerners don't even speak proper english That's the thing about Irish there are different dialects, some people say for the word maith „mah“ others say „my“ etc.... so a different pronunciation isn't neccessarily wrong. |

In Munster, a final -amh like this would be pronounced as Ailill suggests.
