That's the thing about Irish there are different dialects, some people say for the word maith „mah“ others say „my“ etc.... so a different pronunciation isn't neccessarily wrong.

In Munster, a final -amh like this would be pronounced as Ailill suggests.
In Ulster, it would become an "-oo" sound as Conor suggests.
In Connacht, the "mh" would become silent, so all you would have is an "-uh" sound.
