Conas atá sibh = "How are you" (more than one person)
Slán = "Good bye" (casually)
Slán go foill = "See you later"
Slán leat (pl. "libh") = "good bye" (to person leaving)
Slán agat (pl. agaibh) = "good bye" (to person remaining)

accent marks are important in Irish:

Seán Ó Comhaltáin

accent mark = fada?

yep that's what we call it...the actual term is a bit longer síneadh fada or something like that
