Actually, in the Ulster dialect - it would usually be "as an tsaol" as you suggested above. That is fine - but the standard is "as an saol" - which, for a tat, has the advantage of being shorter. bmac - don't let any of this scare you! The phrase you have picked is fine (i.e does not need to be changed) and Murchadha's pronunciation looks grand to me and would go down very well in Munster. |
