Just out of interest, what was the Past Subjunctive all about, like. "Tá an saol mór lán den fhilíocht ag an té dar dual a thuigbheáil agus ní thráfaidh an tobar go deo na ndeor."

It was used primarily for conditional statements that were contrary to fact in the past. Dá gcloisteá an méid a dúirt sé, thuigfeá If you had heard (but you didn't) what he said, you would understand. Because of similarity of forms, and the relative infrequency of use, the Past Subjunctive lost out to the Conditional. |

Update: I removed the past subjunctive case and fixed the fada bug (one method was using the wrong character encoding and I didn't know). Thanks to Oisín and Conor for your help

I added a noun "conjugator", if anyone might happen to be interested in playing with it . . . but it's still not too much use as a dictionary. I'm working on that.

Do you mean "decliner"? You decline nouns and conjugate verbs. Redwolf Níl mé anseo níos mó, a chairde. Tá IGTF caillte...tachta le fógraí. Feicfidh mé sibh ar an suíomh seo
