Is it a traditional tune, or is it copyrighted? If it's copyrighted, you're not going to get a free copy.

Yes, the Capercaillie 45 album is a great listen althoughits not very long.
Karen Mathesons version of Mo Run Geal Og ( or Cumha Do Uilleam Siosal) is very lovely but Flora Macneils is a much more traditional version. THe story goes that Christina Ferguson ( the composer of the song and the wife of William , who was the standard bearer for the Clan Chisholm at the Battle of Culloden) wrote this song, berating Charles Edward Stewart, as she followed his coffin to the burial ground - and as she walked, she beat out the rhythm of the song on the coffin lid. This song was written about 5 miles from where I live.

Karen only sings 2 verses on The Blood is Strong - there are many more in the original text.

If you want a staff copy of the original Scottish Gaelic song 'Mo run Geal dileas' I can get you one. Its not exactly the same as the Rankins version but then theres isn't the original!
