You thought I was kidding when I said I was doing so badly today, I was just going to go make curry, didn't you?

I believe the correct word is "íum"
"GERD?"

Oh...as a fellow sufferer, I should have recognized the acronym. Ouch! If it weren't for Prilosec, I'd be a basket case. This isn't a hot curry...the recipe calls for a little cayenne, but it can be left out. Other than that, the only spices are a mild curry powder, ground coriander, garlic and salt. Not a "flat-bread" scanner? Sorry, couldn't resist!
One reason we have curry night once a week is I am blessed in being able to buy VERY fresh naan at our local farmer's market every Tuesday. Usually Tuesday is curry night, but I didn't have time yesterday, so we had tacos instead. Redwolf Níl mé anseo níos mó, a chairde. Tá IGTF caillte...tachta le fógraí. Actually, it's the bread (naan) that I get at the farmer's market. The veggies came from there too though, for the most part. This time of year, shopping at the market is an incredible, sensual pleasure, and it almost seems criminal not to make everything you can with the goodies you bring home from the market. The stand that sells the naan also sells prepared curry sauces, chutneys, parathas (stuffed breads) and fresh, homemade samosas though...I never can walk by there without sampling! There's also a Greek food stand and a vegetarian Russian bakery stand, right between the organic herbs and the shave ice. I love summer! Redwolf Níl mé anseo níos mó, a chairde.
