Could someone please tell me how to phonetically pronounce the surname

Something like "Oh Shunny" or "Oh Shunnig".

Is Fox not "Mac an Shionnaigh"?

There is still an "Ó Sionnaigh," the chief of the Fox family, who I think is currenly living in Australia.

The Irish for Pat Fox, former Tipperary All-Star hurler, was Padraig Mac an (t)Sionnaigh. This I know cos we had the poster which gave the 15 football and 15 hurling All-Stars for that year, and each guy's name was in English and in Irish.
