So far I have Conchobar for his first name but Keane seems to have heaps of variations.
Does origin or family ancestry affect this heaps.... Help!!! His birthday is next week!!

I'm wondering if anyone can help me with the correct translation for 'Conor Keane' in Gaelic? It's for my boyfriends birthday present engraving and I don't want to get it wrong.
So far I have Conchobar for his first name but Keane seems to have heaps of variations. Does origin or family ancestry affect this heaps.... Help!!! His birthday is next week!! |

The "Keane" you need has two different forms:
(Mac) Keane - Mac Catháin (people hailing from Co. Clare) (O) Keane - O Céin Is é Christian Stoehr mo chroí
