sometimes Irish takes a different preposition than we do

waiting for something/someone = fan le

but when you call out just "Wait !" = Fan ort!

I had beans for dinner last night, and I just heard that phrase issuing from the nether regions. :twisted:
Beidh ár lá linn.......go luath!!

Some help with using the "quotes" feature: If you're quoting someone else in your post, you want to start your message AFTER the [ /quote ]. In other words, where you quoted Deacon Gregory above, what you needed to do was go to his post, hit the "quote" button, then start typing your message at the END of the quote (after the tag). That way the quote will appear in its own little box, as above.
