It's called Groningen, and assuming place names don't translate in itself, I'd like to know how you'd translate (and pronounce) "green stream", of which it's derived.

I noticed your profile :) Thought you might know a thing or two about place name translations, given the nice version of Oldenburg you have there.

My family like Oldenburg, been there a few times. Haven't had the pleasure myself (at least not since I was 4 or something ;) ).
