for and you have two main options:
agus (full form)
is (short form)

neither one causes lenition or eclipsis, so you can use it without having to inflect anything

Misneach agus Meabhair

would be my suggestion for "courage and intelligence", but there are quite a few words for intelligence, so others may have better ones

No, sometimes it's written "is," other times "'s."

's usually when in follows or preceded a vowel.
