I'm a bit confused by. It's the second verse in Enya's "Smaointe"; the first verse is directed at her grandfather, and the second at her grandmother, but in both verses they speak of the other. The song is a lament for Enya's grandparents, so what might this line mean?
I've heard "Following you is your husband," but I'm not sure about that (with all due respect to the one who gave me that translation
