I'd be very very careful with any sites or such saying that celtic knots mean anything specific like that...they were mostly ornamental!

What you could use is the trinity knot, which looks like a heart and is made of one unending ribbon

I'll post a link here soon to it, if you don't already know the one I'm talking about

There really aren't "special Celtic symbols" for anything. It's a common misconception that there are "Celtic" or "Irish" symbols or signs for certain concepts, but it just isn't so.

Well, maybe aside from the Sheela-Na-Gig

but that could also just be ornamental, and it's all speculation...

I'll agree. If there were any Irish or Celtic "symbols," Christianity either adopted them and gave them new meanings, or eradicated them.

I doubt there ever was. "Ancient symbols" are in these days, but most of them are little more than wishful thinking.

Every culture has religious and spiritual symbols. I've never heard of one that didn't. :nixweiss:

I think there was a symbol which ahd been traditionally associated with eternal love - it was as I remember a sort of tripartite knot maybe someone out there knows what I mean?

Symbolism, yes, but not necessarily "symbols," as in written or drawn glyphs that have some sort of esoteric meaning.
