Im studying for my irish summer exam, could anyone tell me the translation for the regular verb Bac, In my copy it says to make but that is the irregular verb Déan it could mean to make but I doubt it


please help it is driving me crazy :twisted:

The only regular verb bac that I know means to hinder, to balk.

With the preposition le, it means to heed, to mind (as in "don't mind him" = "pay no attention to him") or to interfere with, to meddle with.

A closer translation would be "bother."

Ná bac leis = Don't bother with him.

Déan means "do" and "make."
