"Strong" is "Láidir". "Strength" is "Neart".

Is it just going to be a one-word tattoo, or will it be a phrase? If the latter, you may want to have us look at the entire phrase...words change their composition depending on how they're used.

It will be just the word, basically my name peter means strong and rock like, so is the translation youve given me in that context? |

The name "Peter" actually MEANS "rock" (which is why Jesus's play on words "You are Peter, and on this rock will I build my church") works. If you'd like "rock," the Irish for that is carraig. But yes...if you want "strong" as a standalone word, Láidir will do just fine. Just don't forget the accent mark...it's important. Redwolf Níl mé anseo níos mó, a chairde. Is this a repeat request? I wasn't on as much as usual yesterday, so I might have missed that.
