I'm getting a tattoo tomorrow night, and I had originally chosen the sanskit text for "understanding" but sanskrit is not in keeping with my heritage, and now I'm thinking that I would prefer Gaelic.

So what is the translation for understanding? I've found a couple of versions in the online dictionaries, but am clueless as to which one fits me. I'm female...I want it to be equivalent to the English adjective meaning.

Thanks!
:ja: :D

Tuiscint

That's the word you're looking for.

One more question...
How do you pronounce tuiscint? I would like to be able to tell people what it means and how to say it...

thanks!

Ok, so I'll probably murder it, but who here will know anyway?! heh heh

oisin718-I like your Oscar Wilde avatar... I'm an English teacher and he's included in my Brit Lit text. Love his colorful history too!
