the title of the book is "Leabhar Beag Cócaireachta Éireannach"

I think it's correct though, it's just an attributive adjective and not the genitive...

yeh - but "cócaireacht" is in the gen. :nixweiss:

"OH OISIN!"

"Éireannach" prolly modifies "leabhar."

A Small Irish Cook Book --

An Small Book of Irish Cooking would be:

Leabhar Beag Chócaireacht na hÉireann

Well I'm quite satisifed that whoever wrote the book knew the difference between Leabhar Beag Cócaireachta Éireannach (the little Irish book of cooking) and Leabhar Beag Cócaireachta Éireann (the little book of Irish cooking). Of course, it could have been worse; he might have wanted to call it the little Irish book of Irish cooking - Leabhar Beag Cócaireachta Éireannaí Éireannach.

OH HANG ON, WAIT A MINUTE.... if it's the book that's Irish and not the cooking, wouldn't "Éireannach" come before "Cócaireachta"? Leabhar Beag Éireannach Cócaireachta???
