fine is current the rest pretty much obsolete (as soon as I say that some bugger will be witing in saying oh no we use them in Corca Dorcha all the time!)
fine is used in Fine Gael - the political party, for instance. Mind you teaghlach and clann would be by far the most common - but fine is the right word for what he means so why should he not use it!
