Gaoth farraige, is Sea breeze. What'd you have in mind? Maybe we can help with the Irish equivalent for what you want to say.

How about 'Gaoth sáile' [Gwee SAWL-yah]?
This literally means 'salt wind' (sea wind/breeze)

Perhaps a little more about the boat might help with inspiration. You need to steer the group toward images. West Wind or Roaring Thunder or Ebb Tide might be appropriate for different craft...

I had a tiny sailboat years ago named "Grainne", after Grainne ni Mhaille (Grace O'Malley), the female Irish sea captain/pirate.

no the boat only runs from May 1st until the end of Summer and I had to move on to Achill on the 29th-30th and to Sligo for the 1st-3rd of May. But next time I will certainly see it! And Newgrange/ Hill of Tara/ Giant's Causeway and all the other major stuff I missed due to bad circumstances and lacking bus connections (*whine*) Still loved the trip though and I came back without my heart...had to leave it there, it refused to leave! *osna chléibh*
