The one I gave on May Sixth was terrible now that I look at it...So I was bumping it, and to keep the shame from myself, edited the first

You want to see real shame, Pure, you ought to look up one of MY first translation attempts! A fellow wanted "burning oak," which seemed easy enough, so I quickly pulled out the old foclóir and gave him dair loiscneach (failing to note that "loiscneach" is "burning" as in a "burning sensation"). Only like my second day here, and I gave someone a case of poison oak! I'm reminded of that every time I look out my bedroom window and see the lush growth of poison oak behind our house (lovingly cultivated to keep the neighbor kids from peeking in the windows!).
