I do apologise if people get annoyed with people like myself who come on here for help with Irish / Gaelic in a book! I have finished my novel but I am now editing it and as the hero is an Irishman (though he pretends to be an American later!) I realised that it would be much more authentic to make him sound Irish and to give him some Irish expressions.

At one point near the beginning he berates the heroine for nearly running into the path of a car and originally exclaims, "You crazy girl!" However this sounds too English. I would be grateful if someone could give me an alternative expression to use that means the same thing.

(I may be back on for more help again!)

Thanks in advance
Rebecca
