Feasgar math,
My friend has bought a rib from Red Bay in Antrim and wants to call the craft Fast Yellow in Irish.
In Scots Gaelic I think it would be 'Buidhe Luath' but in Irish would it be something similar?

I think Buí buan may be whats needed here. Fast as in a permanent dye.

Buí mear also means fast yellow as in speed
