Could someone please give me the translation for this, it's for a cousin's tattoo I am currently working on.
"Balance between family and friends, makes for a lifetime of happiness."

Also if anyone could direct me towards a celtic symbol for family, and a symbol for friends, i would be greatly appreciative.

Well while I was waiting for replies, I went ahead and translated each word individually (yes I do know that it is not technically accurate)
But this is what I came up with:
"Mea` idir teaghlach agus cairde, ciall ar feadh saol de sonas"
Any thoughts on this?

It's very wrong.
