How would you say "I will always be down the street" or "I'll only ever be just down the street" something of that sort, in gaelic? I mean it literally in the sense that we are near neighbors and if anything is ever needed, I'm only down the street.

Down the street is an English cliché. Síos an tsráid doesnt work.
I gcóngar or i ngaobhar is probably closer to the sentiment. whats your suggestion?

"Síos" and "suas" are often used for directions in Irish. Usually corresponds to North and South actually.

Beidh mé thíos an bóthar.
Tá an cailín ag dul síos an bóthar.
